Kuno Kjærbye violin & Heiko Maschmann double bass

KJÆRBYE/MASCHMANN DUO has been giving concerts in Denmark and Germany since 2022.
They met at the Nordische Filmtage/Klangrauschen in Lübeck in 2019, where Kuno Kjærbye had a first performance as a composer and the idea of a musical duo collaboration arose.

Heiko Maschmann, member of Kiel Philharmonic Orchestra/Opera (Kiel, DE) since 1993.
Heiko plays an important within new-music in Germany – as a soloist, chamber music player and organiser. He has 1st performed a large number of music works, incl. by Karl Heniz Stockhausen.

Kuno Kjærbye violinist and composer graduated as a soloist 1985 from the Royal Danish Academy of Music with Eyvind Sand Kjeldsen and Endre Wolf as his teachers.

Studies at New England Conservatory, Boston, US 1982-83.

Kjærbye has 1st performed many works by Danish as well other European composers and has performed in the Nordic and Baltic countries, Germany, France, UK a.o.
